Season six of Orange Is the New Black brings new relationships, new flashbacks, and a whole lot of new drama, but one new character in particular steals the hearts of viewers and a few inmates, and that's Dominga Duarte aka Daddy. Daddy may be a drug-smuggling, problem-causing character, but she always looks out for her team, who she calls "Daddy's girls." Upon binge-watching the new season of the show and climbing out of a serious internet hole we're not ashamed of, we discovered that Daddy - actress and singer Vicci Martinez - appeared on season one of NBC's The Voice, where she came in third place.

Martinez was on Team CeeLo, and we are seriously blown away by her incredible Voice. She's a powerhouse leader with a huge heart while playing Daddy, but the multifaceted artist is so much more, surprising all of us that OITNB is her first major acting role.
