Kanye was about 45 minutes into his set and performing ‘Heartless’ on stage when he announced out of no where: “I’m sorry, there’s a family emergency, I have to stop the show.”
He immediately exited the stage and the music stopped. There has been no word on what the “family emergency” is but the Meadows Twitter account did release a brief statement about it. Incidentally, Kanye’s set at the Governors Ball back in June, which is also organised by the same company Founders Entertainment, was canceled due to inclement weather.
It is now clear what the “family emergency” was. Kim Kardashian was held at gun point and robbed in her hotel room in Paris by masked men who were dressed as Police officers, CNN has confirmed. Kim and her family members — Kris Jenner, Kendall Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian & others, are currently in Paris for the ongoing Paris Fashion Week.
“Kim Kardashian West was held up at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room this evening, by two armed masked men dressed as police officers. She is badly shaken but physically unharmed,” Kim Kardashian West’s spokesperson Ina Treciokas told CNN.
