Leader: Paul Bouscal, CNPS member and California Naturalist
This field trip will be restricted to 12 persons, vaccinations encouraged.
Join us on a late spring hike to explore this Canyon in the midst of residential neighborhoods. Glen Canyon is one of San Francisco’s significant natural resource areas containing a variety of habitats and vegetation including grasslands, riparian areas, forbs, shrubs, and willows and other trees. At this time of year we hope to see the spring phase of local plants. The park features rock formations and a tributary of Islais Creek. We will walk and view parts of this 70-acre park to enjoy the flora, fauna and natural history. In San Francisco layers of clothing are recommended.
Contact Paul at [email protected], or call 650-438-9109 to reserve and for more information.
