At Berkeley’s inaugural “Winter on the Waterfront,” you’ll be able to enjoy hot chocolate, holiday treats and plenty of children’s activities like face painting, crafts, and carnival games with prizes. A tot play area will keep the little ones entertained.
Decorate cookies and join in some California-style “snowball” fun (hint: even without actual snow, “snowballs” will be flying). Santa and Elsa will be on-hand to visit and read stories.
Do all this while listening to holiday music and enjoying some of the region’s best views of the Bay.
After the sun sets, join us for the Berkeley Marina’s inaugural Lighted Boat Parade, where boats dressed up in holiday lights will sail, motor, or paddle in a loop just outside of the harbor.
We’ll also have a small-scale fireworks display along Seawall Drive and around the Berkeley Yacht Club. Bundle up. Bring blankets and low-back chairs. Co-sponsored by the Berkeley Yacht Club and Berkeley Marine Center
