Enjoy this family walk in the Presidio led by young birder Jonah Benningfield, accompanied by Presidio Trust staff Rebekah Berkov and Diony Gamoso. Enjoyable for birders of any level, from beginners to the pros. We hope to take full advantage of the west coast’s spectacular bird migration as hundreds of different species pass through the Presidio on their way from Boreal forests in Canada and Alaska to their wintering grounds in Panama. Dress for hiking and variable weather and bring your binoculars. We will bring youth binoculars to share and Jonah’s Birds of Mountain Lake guide for every participant.
