Etihad Airways, the official airline of the United Arab Emirates, has made major schedule adjustments for the summer, marking the next major expansion of its global network.
To strengthen Abu Dhabi’s status as a worldwide connection and improve travel options, this strategic development entails adding new flights and increasing frequencies to existing routes. The airline plans to increase its reach by beginning service to two brand-new, highly desirable locations: Etihad is set to commence three weekly seasonal flights between Abu Dhabi and Antalya (AYT), Turkey on June 15. Beginning on June 16, there will be four weekly flights to Jaipur (JAI), India.
Etihad is increasing the frequency of its flights to several important locations starting on June 15. There will be three more weekly flights to Thiruvananthapuram and 14 to Amman, respectively. Three more flights to Cairo for a total of 24, an increase to 17 in Karachi, and 20 weekly flights to Colombo are among the additional services.
The company’s most recent expansion increases its coverage from 65 to 75 locations, greatly improving global connectivity, and adds to the overall 33% rise in weekly flights operated by Etihad, which increased from 635 last summer to 847 in 2024. Notably, Jaipur brings Etihad’s total count of Indian gates to 11. The development demonstrates Etihad’s dedication to the Indian market and fortifies the existing cultural and commercial links between India and the United Arab Emirates.
In addition to offering passengers more connectivity and a wider choice of travel options, the updated schedule and the new routes have been designed to maximize the travel experience. Passengers will also get to enjoy the high-end facilities and customer-focused services offered at the recently opened Terminal A at Zayed International Airport Abu Dhabi.
