Saudia, the Saudi Arabian national airline, committed to improving the guest experience and expanding its operational capabilities when it signed a deal with Collins Aerospace. Through this partnership, Saudia’s fleet interiors will be significantly upgraded, and Saudia Technic, a subsidiary of the Saudia Group, will benefit from further synergies.

As per the agreement, Saudia’s next Boeing 787 fleet, which is slated for delivery starting in early 2026, will have specially designed seats installed by Collins Aerospace, a worldwide renowned pioneer in aviation solutions. In addition, a thorough seat retrofit programme is scheduled to begin in late 2025 and end in late 2027 for Saudia’s existing fleet of Airbus A330 and Boeing 777 aircraft, to improve both functionality and aesthetics.

It is noteworthy that all Business Class cabins on Saudia’s wide-body fleet will have private suites, guaranteeing guests a luxurious and comfortable journey. The plan’s construction of localized repair and select spare manufacturing capabilities with Saudia Technic is a crucial component that demonstrates the Group’s dedication to localizing content in the area. Through the implementation of complete solutions, regional product support, streamlined spare support, and enhanced in-house repair capabilities, Saudia will be able to optimize fleet performance and operating efficiency.
