Coming Soon: Air India Launching Direct Flights to Seattle, Los Angeles, and Dallas

In a strategic move aimed at bolstering its global footprint, Air India, under the ownership of the Tata Group, has unveiled ambitious plans to introduce direct flights to major US cities.

Insider sources within the airline have confirmed the airline’s intention to expand its services by launching non-stop routes to Seattle, Los Angeles, and Dallas. The expansion strategy depends on Air India’s current fleet being supplemented with more sophisticated Airbus A350 and Boeing 777 aircraft.

These ultra-long-haul aircraft are expected to make it easier to start operating to the designated US locations. As of right now, Air India is the only Indian airline operating in the United States; flights are currently offered between Washington, New York, Newark, San Francisco, and Chicago.

Air India plans to begin service to Seattle, Los Angeles, and Dallas during the winter schedule of 2024–2025, according to the report from PTI. The plan of deployment entails assigning the Boeing 777 to flights to Los Angeles and Dallas, and using the A350 aircraft for services to Seattle. These flights, which last for more than sixteen hours, highlight Air India’s dedication to providing smooth travel anywhere in the world.

Furthermore, industry sources hint at the imminent launch of services connecting Bengaluru to London Gatwick next month, utilizing Boeing Dreamliner aircraft. This move is poised to broaden options for passengers within the aviation sector seeking convenient and direct access to the UK.
