According to a report, four new airlines are apparently interested in beginning service in Thailand. The four carriers are P80 Air, Really Cool Air, Landarch Airline, and Siam Seaplane. It also mentioned that obtaining air service permits will take some time. The four airlines were anticipated to receive approval to start operations in next year. And expecting to capitalize on rising demand from the tourism sector.

The brand-new airlines provide several distinctive and innovative services, such as seaplanes, blockchain integration with NFTs, little hopper planes, and long-haul flights. Their debuts are anticipated to increase competition in the kingdom’s aviation market, posing new difficulties for firms in the sector that already face increased operating expenses due to higher oil prices.

P80 Air, To launch the new airline, the business plans to invest roughly 2 billion baht. It will operate Boeing 787-800 aircraft for both scheduled and charter flights. The airline will lease four aircraft for the services in the first year and grow its fleet to 20 in four years. On their website, they mention locations including Hong Kong, Macau, and Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and Da Nang in Vietnam.

Landarch Airlines , M-Landarch Co. is already an authorised Cessna dealer. They will manage Landarch Airline, which will operate short-haul flights utilising compact Cessna C208B planes to fill gaps in Thailand’s aviation infrastructure. Landarch Airlines is set to launch in the first quarter of 2024 with 12-seat propeller planes, targeting clients travelling between large cities and beach communities in the south.
