Indian Air Force’s trainer aircraft crashes in Karnataka

On Thursday, an Indian Air Force (IAF) Kiran Trainer Aircraft Crashed in a wide-open field in the Chamarajnagar region of Karnataka.

According to PTI, two of the aircraft’s pilots safely ejected before the collision, escaping the wreckage with only minor injuries. The training plane crashed in the town of Bhogapura after taking off from the air force base in Bengaluru. When the crash happened, the pilots Tejpal and Bhumika were on a regular training flight.

The Chamarajanagar administration claims that an IAF team has recovered the debris from the incident’s location. According to the police, both pilots were transported to Bengaluru by helicopter airlift. Later, the police secured the crash site to allow for more investigation.
