On Sunday, An Indonesian airline, TransNusa Airlines, received the ARJ21, the country of China’s first domestically manufactured regional passenger aircraft, officially launching first jet airliner into the international market.

There are 95 economy class seats on the ARJ21-700 aeroplane that TransNusa received, and all of the seats’ covering is leather. According to Commercial Aircraft Corp of China, or COMAC, the aircraft’s builder, the exterior painting is based on the characteristic colours of the airline’s emblem, which featured blue, yellow, and green, and the fuselage is printed with a pattern of the Indonesian national flag.
Indonesia is one of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations’ (ASEAN) member nations with one of the largest economies, and it also has one of the fastest expanding civil aviation industries in the world. The nation is favourable for the use of regional airliners because of its numerous islands.

The ARJ21 is primarily utilised to meet the demand for transportation between major cities and neighbouring smaller communities, with a flying range of 2,225 to 3,700 kilometres. Nearly 100 aircraft have been supplied and put into service on more than 300 domestic routes since the aircraft model received certification in 2014. According to COMAC, It has good wind-resistance and night navigation operation.
The company stated that COMAC has made preparations in the last few years for the market expansion of the ARJ21 overseas, particularly in the nations and regions involved in the Belt and Road Initiative, in terms of market cooperation, airworthiness certification, customer training, and material support.
