Boeing and Airbus orders at Farnborough on the second day

Airbus and Boeing have attracted new attention from airlines across the world and have supplied good trust in the aircraft; yet, to begin with, Boeing has received the bigger number of orders for the aircraft, although Airbus remains confident of acquiring more aircraft from future clients. Let us have a look at the most recent developments on both sides on Day 2 of the Farnborough Airshow 2022.

On the Boeing second day, the company maintained high order rates, and airlines are placing new orders. Surprisingly, the Boeing 737 Max is in high demand, with orders for more than 250 aircraft, including purchase commitments for purchasing aircraft. As Boeing demonstrated, the majority of the commercial and defence products are attracting attention.

Many aircraft from around the world have attended this airshow, showcasing their essential qualities and attracting additional orders from clients. All eyes are now on Boeing, which has been through some of the most difficult times in the last two years as a result of the Boeing 737 Max aircraft. However, it has recently returned to normal operations and grown industry.

Airbus news and orders

Airbus and a number of major airlines – Air Canada, Air France-KLM, easyJet, International Airlines Group, LATAM Airlines Group, Lufthansa Group and Virgin Atlantic – have signed Letters of Intent (LoI) to explore opportunities for a future supply of carbon removal credits from direct air carbon capture technology.
