Made this card for a Challenge n the Countryview Crafts Challenge blog whose subject this month is 'First Signs Of Spring' .....

I started with a 6 x 6 inch white card blank .... The background was made with Distress Oxides in Speckled Egg, Twisted Citron and Squeezed Lemonade spayed with water and smooshed onto the white card. the panel was edged in black. I then stamped some open and closed leaves in more Twisted Citron ink.

I then applied a strip of green Washi tape as shown and stamped a brown twig top right. The background was then matted on yellow and dark green card.

I then stamped the Daffodils, nest and words in black Versafine ink on white card .... heat embossing all with clear embossing powder. The nest and daffodils were coloured with watercolours and trimmed out. The nest was applied on Foam Pads and the daffodils directly to the background over the Washi tape.

The words were trimmed & matted again before applying on more foam pads. The matts were attached to the card blank to finish the card .....

Thought it was quite Springy in content and colour .....
