Waxahatchee – Bored

The chorus of this new single from Waxahatchee (aka Katie Crutchfield) sounds a whole lot like the one from the Deftones’ song of the same name (from 1995), which is funny … and weird that my brain connected the two. Anyhow, her impending album is titled Tigers Blood and it’s due out March 22. Also, for those in Austin, she’s playing ACL Live on May 11.

Metz – 99 / Entwined (Street Light Buzz)

Up On Gravity Hill is the title of the new Metz album that’s coming out on April 12, and here you’ll find a couple of rad tracks from it. By the way, the band is playing the Parish (as a part of Austin Psych Fest) on April 26.
