Mannequin Pussy – I Don’t Know You

Mannequin Pussy have finally announced a new album – it’s titled I Got Heaven and it’ll be out on March 1. Honestly, I figured this single would be another scorcher from them, but it’s actually a softy.

Lowertown – Root Canal

So much of this Lowertown track reminds me of indie rock/pop from the early 2000s. The band will release a new EP, Skin Of My Teeth, on Friday, October 27.

Middle Kids – Dramamine

Just like with Mannequin Pussy (further up in this post), I’ve been waiting and waiting for a new Middle Kids album and now one is on the way – Faith Crisis Pt 1 will be released on February 16. Their latest anthemic indie rock gem is right here.

Idles – Dancer

TANGK is the name of the new Idles album that’s due out February 16. This single is pretty left field for them, which works for me (a casual fan), but I do wonder if it’ll alienate some of the folks that have been following them since the beginning.

Party Dozen – Wake In Might

Here’s a new one from Party Dozen that should help you stomp through the rest of this week. By the way, the band is said to be working on an album that will be out sometime next year.
