The Artist Series is my tribute to my absolute favorite artists. I try to boil down these playlists to only the artist’s essential and defining songs. I’ve delayed creating an artist series playlist for Ani Difranco because she one of my all-time top 3 or 4 artists. So, narrowing down a playlist to a mere 15-20 songs is simply impossible. Therefore, I’ve worked it down to my absolute 70 essential Ani songs. That sounds like a lot but keep in mind we’re talking about condensing down a 30+ year career. This playlist could and maybe even should be about 150 songs, but if you’ve never listened to Ani Difranco before, these are the absolute must not miss tracks.
