Yesterday, on December 13th, 2023, the OBO Crooner rolled into Asaba, Delta State for his Timeless concert, and the outcome was an absolute sellout.
A viral online video showcased the arrival of Davido at the city’s airport, coming from his private jets alongside his 30BG crew.
Amidst the airport ambiance, the singer received a warm welcome from nightlife impresario, Celebrity bestie, Cubana Chiefpriest and they exchanged hearty handshakes and pleasantries.
However, a gentleman standing beside Chiefpriest eagerly extended his hand to Davido for a handshake, the music star, with a discerning glance, chose to snub the gesture before proceeding towards his destination with his crew.
Fans who stumbled upon the clip on social media staunchly defended the singer’s actions towards the fan.
A prevailing sentiment was that the singer, perhaps due to a lack of trust, is now more security-conscious. They strongly asserted that he is well within his rights to refrain from shaking hands with anyone he doesn’t know.
