Daniela Melchior dos Reis Lopes Pereira was (born on November 1, 1996), in Almada, Setúbal, Portugal. Daniela is quite private about her life, so he has managed to keep things private about her parents or early life.

As a child, she didn’t think about becoming an actress; however, after testing in her 9th-grade class, she decided to pursue a career in showbiz. Upon graduating high school, she began auditioning for TV roles in the Portuguese industry.

Daniela began her acting career in 2014 by appearing in several film and TV productions in her country. From 2014 to 2014, she starred as Viviana Gomes in 316 episodes of Mulheres. The following year, she was cast for 68 episodes of the television series Massa Fresca. 

In 2017, Daniela had her first leading role as Cláudia Andrade for 221 episodes of the telenovela Ouro Verde. She continued to appear in episodes of the Portuguese telenovela, including A Herdeira (2018), Valor da Vida (2018-19), and Pecado (2021). 

Daniela had a big break in her career when she entered Hollywood. In the summer of 2021, she landed the role of Cleo Cazo/Ratcatcher 2 in the American superhero film The Suicide Squad. In this movie, she got to act alongside high-profile names such as John Cena, Margot Robbie, Idris Elba, and Viola Davis.

Daniela became the first female actress to appear in a DCEU film. Her immense performance in The Suicide Squad earned her Golden Globes (Portugal) award nomination for Newcomer, as well as multiple accolades.
