“I am scared for my life” – Singer Skales says (Video)

Nigerian singer, Skales, has taken to his social media pages to express his fear following the invasion of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in his home recently.

Recall that Skales had accused the EFCC of breaking into his home and falsely accusing him of being a fraudster.

Skales averred that the agency subjected him to harassment and intimidation during a night raid on his home.

In the most recent episode of the Terms & Conditions podcast, Skales stressed that his life is no longer safe because he has been receiving threats ever since he lashed out at the anti-graft organization.

The artiste disclosed that he was terrified for his life and couldn’t understand why the EFCC would target him.

Skales further revealed that he was innocent of the allegations levelled against him and had nothing to do with the case that prompted the invasion.

According to the singer, he is still able to move around freely because he is “clean.”

Skales claimed that his performer, who was taken into custody during the raid, is still there.

He said:

“The EFCC operatives that invaded my house didn’t have a search warrant. Obviously, they were illegal.

My problem with the EFCC guys is not even the fact that they are not doing what they were paid for.

“They are now using the power to oppress people. They are oppressing me right now. I am scared for my life, I won’t lie to you. I’m scared but at the same time, I know I’m clean, that’s why I’m moving around.”
