“Cry from now to kingdom come” – Davido responds Twitter critic who called out his uncle for bad governance

Davido recently engaged in a Twitter conversation where he addressed his uncle’s effectiveness as the governor of Osun State.

This conversation arose after a Twitter user shared a detailed post on Instagram expressing concerns about the performance of the Osun State government.

The critic emphasized that the government had made strong promises during its campaign, particularly regarding the repayment of the state’s debts within a short timeframe.

However, the reality was that the state’s debt situation had not improved, which left the public feeling frustrated.

Additionally, there was a lack of transparency regarding the allocation of funds.

Furthermore, the critic pointed out the discontinuation of the OYES scheme, which had previously provided numerous jobs and livelihoods to Osun State residents.

This termination of the program resulted in increased unemployment in the state, leading to even more dissatisfaction.

In response to these criticisms, Davido’s video took on a dismissive tone.

He basically brushed off the critic’s concerns and jokingly predicted that his uncle would remain in power until 2031, accompanied by a laughing emoji.

Many onlookers found this response inappropriate, as they believed the critic’s concerns warranted a more serious reply.

This incident occurred during ongoing discussions about Governance in Osun State, with different individuals expressing their perspectives on the matter.

In a separate incident, Daniel Rega criticized popular musician Davido for his position on Osun State governance.

Rega insinuated that Davido’s public statements about good governance might not be entirely genuine and accused him of behaving as if his family had a sense of entitlement over the state.
