In a recent radio interview, former BBNaija “All Stars” housemate Adekunle explained why he declines gifts from fans while discussing his relationship with Venita outside of Biggie’s house.
Adekunle has stated unequivocally that he does not desire any type of gift from his followers.
According to Adekunle, when fans and shippers support you because of your relationship with a specific housemate, there is usually an expectation.
He claims that if these admirers give their idol gifts and the ship sinks, they will accuse their idol of taking advantage of them.
Adekunle said he had previously requested that his fans refrain from giving him any gifts because he didn’t want them to perceive that he was in some way reliant on them.
Regarding his relationship with Venita, he remarked that it was essentially a ship inside a house, where one is confined and has little knowledge of the other occupants.
He emphasized that he and Venita didn’t really know each other, and while he had witnessed some of her actions and outbursts inside the home, neither of them had ever seen how the other behaved outside of it.
