Cristiano Ronaldo scores first-ever AFC Champions League goal as Al-Nassr fight back to defeat Istiklol (Video)

In Riyadh on Monday, Al-Nassr fought back from a goal down to defeat Istiklol 3-1 in the Afc Champions League, with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring his first-ever goal in the tournament.

Senin Sebal opened the scoring to shock the Saudi Pro League side in the first half, but Ronaldo equalized with a delightful chip over the goalie in the 66th minute.

Talisca, the Brazilian forward, then struck twice to secure the victory for Al-Nassr.

Ronaldo’s goal marked his first in Asian competition since joining Al-Nassr during the summer and added to his impressive track record of scoring in every major club tournament he has participated in.

The win was Al-Nassr’s second consecutive triumph in the AFC Champions League, positioning them favorably to progress to the knockout stages of the competition.

Ronaldo, at the age of 38, aims to guide his new team to success in the tournament and has made a promising start towards achieving that goal.

He has scored 17 goals in 17 appearances in all competitions this season, and he has also helped to improve the team’s overall level of play.

The Saudi Arabian team has achieved a remarkable feat by winning nine consecutive matches in all competitions.
