President Hichilema Told to Sack Police IG

Human rights campaigner Brebner Changala has urged President Hakainde Hichilema to remove Inspector General of Police Graphel Musamba as soon as possible.

Changala claims Musamba is abusing his position by acting like a UPND cadre at the moment.

Changala cites Musamba’s recent statement as evidence of a bias in seeking a case against Socialist Party leader Fred M’membe.

Changala is dissatisfied with Musamba’s performance as the leading law enforcement official, claiming a lack of professionalism.

He underlines that Musamba’s actions now put President Hichilema’s government and the nation’s democracy in jeopardy.

Changala raises questions about Musamba’s impartiality, questioning why he has taken political sides in his judgments. Changala firmly believes that Musamba should not be allowed to continue serving the people of Zambia in his current capacity.

Furthermore, Changala suggests a new approach for the role of Inspector General, advocating for a young and highly trained officer who has advanced through the ranks rather than someone who has already retired.
