For the first time since the conclusion of the reality show, ex Big Brother Naija level up housemates and former besties, Beauty and Phyna has finally discussed the ‘Groovy situation.’
You may recall that Beauty and Groovy were lovers before her disqualification, however, after her exit from the show, her good friend, Phyna, moved in on her man.
Beauty Tukura, during the reunion, said she didn’t have a problem seeing her estranged love interest, Groovy in a relationship with her friend, Phyna after she was disqualified from the reality show.
According to Beauty, Phyna was someone she genuinely liked and stood up for during her time in the house, she claimed that Phyna didn’t have one good thing to say about her because of a man.
The host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu asked: “What do you think first of all when you started seeing that [Groovy and Phyna’s relationship] happened?”
Beauty said: “Honestly, I didn’t have a problem with that. And I will tell you why because first, I’m very in touch with reality. Does that make sense? I’m as real as they come.
“Even when I left the [Big Brother] House, my first interview they asked me about him [Groovy] and everything, I said that I felt sorry about what I said about him. I was very clear, I was like, I don’t expect him not to move on.
“So, I never have a problem if Groovy was going to be with anybody else. I’m not a witch. I will not have a problem with it.”
On why she snubbed Phyna at a party after the reality show, Beauty said, “Because I watched a clip of this girl [Phyna] saying I should die… She just went on, now she’s with Groovy sef, if you want to die, go and die.”
