“I Told Davido that we won’t Blow if we don’t Rebel, we Sold his Father’s TV to Enter Studio” B-Red (video)

Adebayo Adeleke, popularly known as B-Red, a Nigerian singer, has recounted how he advised his cousin, Davido, to revolt against his family and how they ended up selling the music star father’s television in order to release a song while still attempting to achieve fame in the music industry. He revealed this in an interview.

During an interview with Echooroom a few minutes ago, the singer said that his first contact with famed afro beat musician, Wizkid, was when he questioned who Davido was after his song “Back When” was booming at the time.

According to B-Red, he told Wizkid that Davido is his cousin and that he is a powerful force in the industry. B-Red stated that he first encountered Burna Boy in Port Harcourt, adding that he was rushing after their car and screaming that he loved Davido.

B-Red on speaking about his influence on Davido’s music career, the singer revealed that;

“I was the person that called David and told him we have to be angry, we have to rebel, if we don’t rebel we will not blow. I went to Davido father’s house, I busted the door with my leg, I told David let’s go. Me and David sold twenty televisions in his father’s house, 30 thousand that’s what we use to enter studio”.
