Lionel Messi has said that he left Paris Saint-Germain because he was dissatisfied during his two years there.

After Messi’s signing with Inter Miami on Wednesday, this just happened.

In order to address concerns about this future, the World Cup winner from Argentina spoke with Spanish media sources Mundo Deportivo.

The 35-year-old spoke candidly about his time at PSG in the interview, adamant that his Family suffered as a result of his unhappiness at the French Ligue 1 winners.

“These were two years at PSG in which I was not happy, I did not enjoy myself, and that affected my family life,” Messi said.

“I’m at a moment where I want to get out of focus a bit, and think more about my family. The last two years haven’t been so well for my family,” he added.

Messi joined PSG on a free transfer back in the summer of 2021.
