Nicki Minaj dragged to court for damaging borrowed jewellery

Nicki Minaj, an American musician, has been taken to court over allegedly unpaid invoices for handmade Jewelry.

After the rapper damaged some jewelry they lent her, Roseark Jewellery in West Hollywood is suing her.

Nicki’s lawyer, however, asserted that she is not at fault and that the jeweler is merely exploiting her for attention.

A new complaint claims that Roseark Jewellery Store and Nicki’s stylist, Brett Alan Nelson, entered into a contract whereby Roseark agreed to loan Nicki jewelry for a public appearance.

The shop added that according to the contract, Brett was required to pay for any damage the jewelry would sustain while under his care and return the bling within a week.

However, Nicki’s stylist missed the deadline for returning 66 items of jewelry, and when he did, a pair of earrings and a leaf ring had visible damage.

According to a source close to Nicki, everything was returned as promised and on time, and the jewelry shop didn’t complain about a missing stone until after the pieces had been in the jeweler’s custody for some time.
