Rapper Mystikal could be walking out of jail as early as next week if everything goes to plan. According to a report from TMZ.

The release would come before his trial for first degree rape and second-degree kidnapping starts this spring.

The rapper’s attorney, Joel Pearce, told the celebrity news outlet that his client’s friends and family have been raising money for his $3 million bond, but it was a newly-signed record deal that really helped him reach his goal.

Tim Yazbeck, who is reported to be his other lawyer states that Mystikal has a new record deal for three unreleased albums and he’s hoping to get an advance within days.
