Comedic actress Tiffany Haddish announced her limited edition Lawry’s seasoned salt just in time for the holidays.
Tiffany Haddish was honored with her very own bottle of Lawry’s Seasoned Salt. But some of you were not happy.
Some of you objected to the label that read: “TIFFANY HADDISH SEASONED SALT; SHE READY!”
Many of you accused Tiffany of being a “coon,” and even worse, a “mammy.”
The March bottles featured black text and a small picture of Tiffany. It appeared as if the label graphic designer was in a rush.
Haddish, 38, showed off her new and improved bottles of Lawry’s on Instagram on Thursday.
The new and improved bottles feature red text and a bigger picture of Tiffany on the bottle.
In the official ad photo, the bottles are turned at an angle to hide the offensive, grammatically incorrect “SHE READY!”
