WHOA, Sports analyst Shannon Sharpe was forced to defend his interracial relationship after he was criticized for allegedly only dating white women.

It also drew a strong response from Sharpe, who up until recently was in a relationship with Flywheel instructor Katy Kellner, but seems to have turned up his long-time pursuit of Nicole Murphy.

Cynthia G is a Youtuber who claims to promote “Black empowerment” through the content she delivers to her 8.3 thousand subscribers. She also stays quite busy preaching against “bed wenches” and “swirlers” on Twitter and other social media platforms. Some of the 33-year-old critic’s most persistent posts take aim at the likes of LaVar and Tina Ball, Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian, and even Halle Berry’s parents. Sharpe is among those who’ve consistently drawn her ire, with one of her more recent tweets pointing out the fact that he continues to get with White women, albeit he’s been falsely accused of rape by a White woman in the past.

On Thursday, November 23, Sharpe happened to come across one Cynthia G post that sought to discredit the pro-Black stance he typically takes on Fox Sports on the basis of his history of relationships, and he swiftly shut her down. “Not that it’s your or anyone else’s DAMN business who I date. I don’t date for approval and don’t need you or others to confirm who or what I am. Enjoy your day,” he replied.
