Wow, it’s been months since we’ve heard anything about Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx’s relationship.
Sources are reporting that they took a private jet to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to celebrate Katie’s 38th birthday over the weekend! They went to a fancy resort and stayed in a private suite and it all sounds so romantic. Still, it only lasted one night.

“Katie and Jamie took a private jet to Cabo on Friday morning from Van Nuys Airport [in Los Angeles],” the insider tells Us. “It was a quick trip in honor of Katie’s birthday. It was only them and two pilots on the plane.”
Upon their arrival, the notoriously quiet pair, who started dating in 2013, took a limousine to the luxe Las Ventanas al Paraíso, a Rosewood Resort. “They stayed in one of the most private suites at the hotel, separate from other guests and entered by a small path,” the source explains. “They wanted to be very discreet and had everything delivered to their room and taken care of by a personal butler.”Holmes, 38, and Foxx, 49, left Cabo on Saturday night and headed home to Los Angeles. “Suri was not with them,” the insider adds.
Us Weekly broke the news in October 2013 that the couple were secretly dating and published an exclusive photo in March 2015 of them holding hands. Although they’ve been together for more than three years, the movie stars have kept a low profile and stayed mum about their romance.
“He is very happy with her. I love that he seems very happy,” former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Claudia Jordan, who is friends with Foxx, confirmed during a June interview before backtracking and claiming she “misspoke.”
Holmes was previously married to Tom Cruise from 2006 to 2012. They share 10-year-old daughter Suri. Foxx, meanwhile, has two daughters, Corinne, 22, and Annalise, 8, from previous relationships.
