New Spillway Single, “Autumn Leaves”

Spillway’s debut single “Autumn Leaves” feeds listeners anxiety-provoking vocals and aggressive Guitar riffs to create a relatable agonizing punk sound. The bipolar instrumental on this track edges on listeners time and time again to keep them intrigued with the hypnotic opening guitar arpeggio that pulls influence from the likes of John Frusciante and Jeff Buckley. This psychedelic guitar section and periodic craziness is seen similarly on their previous live recordings of “Nothing Behind You” and “The Whole Everything” from their debut EP, “Fall Live Demo.” Spillway stays true to the sound seen on “Fall Live Demo” but seems to evolve into a more technical and crisp musical state on “Autumn Leaves.”
