Hallo basenoters,
I started my journey into perfumes a few months ago, smelled many perfumes, read a lot, bought some Oils and ACs and started mixing. At the moment i cannot work (as a musician) due to the rona but i have enough money to pay rent and therefore a lot of free time. Diving into perfume is how i stay productive, creative and learning. I want to use the "luxury" of free time in next months as efficiently as possible. My goal is getting a training and learning routine that gives me the skills to create formulas and craft the juice i like.
What would be a daily routine (my nose fatigue and relatively small collection of ~50 materials being the main limiters) that gets best results? What excercises or techniques helped you improve, what are a waste of time, which ones are most fun? What is a good ratio of practical smelling and mixing to reading?
Thank you!
Roman
