This has been long overdue really, but today I tried a few from the range at a local store (which hasn't been around THAT long). It was fortunate there were no SAs/vultures hanging around to annoy me.
I tried La Religieuse, L'Orpheline, Santal Majuscule, Bapteme du Feu, Chergui and one other I can't recall. Certainly an interesting house. Bapteme du Feu was the strangest. La Religieuse conjured up a "naughty nun" vibe (?!) - not as austere and serious as I expected. I can understand why Chergui is popular (very likeable) but for me, Santal Majuscule stood out the most - if I was forced to buy just one, I think it would be that one. I liked the fact I was getting a POWERFUL sandalwood smell, albeit a spiced sandalwood.
