Hallowed, Lost, Longed for... Revisited... again.

Here is my post;

Time takes its toll....I wanted to repost an earlier message, eager to hear of new longings. I wonder what is now hallowed but yet lost or longed for since 2006...? Guidion...

Below a Halloween Message in 2006.

It is said that Ghosts have no Self Consciousness whatsoever, that they are so bereft of awareness that they can't even see themselves in a mirror.

I think tonight as Halloween is an appropriate time for a point, in the same vein about fragrance.

Someone in one thread this week made a point about fragrances which 'Reflect the Personality' a good point yet an interesting one. It is a fraught question since, speaking for myself, I don't seem able to offer input about myself personality wise that Others wouldn't construe as outrageous wishful thinking. I share a little of the problems of the Ghostly when it comes to choosing correctly.

There have been quite accidental choices though, of Fragrances, now lost to History, which, in the wearing, relieved me of my discontented search for just long enough to allow me a Glimpse of Who was searching. Maybe the relief I felt then is what I called loving the fragrance:Another mistake; It was the Glimpse that captivated.

I have written elsewhere about certain frags in this form;

Oh ( Insert preferred Frag )
I love you,
Not for what you are,
But for what I am,
When I am wearing you.

Tonight I lament the loss of the Original formulation of Monsieur Rochas, as powerful an aid as any annointing oil.

I mourn the loss of a little known frag from the 70's called 'Lucarelli', an enlightening Fougere, the memory of which, to this day, keeps the pages of my mental history illuminated and clear.

Which other Fragrance Spectres are tapping at the glass tonight and sighing for recollection.?

Hear anything Anyone?
