Jasmine Specialty from Perfumers Apprentice

Jasmine Specilaty from Perfumers Apprentice

20% on test strip:

The opening, the first 10 - 15 minuets of this synthetic jasmine is nice.
It`s very fruity floral raspberry, and slightly waxy/creamy for the first 10 minutes.
In this way, it appears to do a decent job of replicating Jasmine absolute.

But as it dries down it becomes less fruity, less waxy and more powdery/soapy and
More one dimension. It does remain floral but its jammy, fruity aspects are replaced with a cleaning agent type scent appears.

Although this synthetic Jasmine was not expensive, and it really does a good job in the opening,
I recommend pairing it with ylang ylang, vanilla or benzoin essential oils to create a less sharp, more well rounded, warmer dry down.

This Jasmine (once paired with a tiny bit of ylang ylang) could be used with nearly any e.o. synthetic or absolutes, but especially;
civet or any other musk,
all the white flowers,
rose,
patchouli,
vetiver,
peach, and all fruity-type scents.
