I find that most Niche releases are weak - how about you?
Exceptions are a few Malle (Portrait of a Lady), a few Mazzolari fragrances, Profumum (in general), many of the Montales (Black Aoud), some Amouages (Interlude Man) and a few sporadically from across brands.
Take something like vintage/earlier Azuree or Kouros (or Angel / Alien / Antaeus / Black Orchid .... many others) - most of them have very good performance and are way more potent than most niche fragrances.
Curious to hear your thoughts. I think this generally combines with the fact that most EdTs are effectively EdCs, most EdPs are EdTs, and some are releasing EdP concentrations and calling them 'pure perfume / extraits'.
Also, please suggest some niche powerhouses - something like the ones I mentioned.
