At an event in Mumbai, Ranbir said that 60% of movie shoot has been completed. It feels proud that he’s doing the biopic and also very thankful to both Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Sanjay Dutt.

The movie also stars Vicky Kaushal who plays the role of Sanjay Dutt’s close friend, Manisha Koirala as Nargis Dutt, Paresh Rawal as Sunil Dutt and Dia Mirza in the role of Maanayata Dutt.

For the time being, Ranbir would start promoting Jagga Jasoos, whose shoot was finally completed on April 11. The actor would be seen sharing the screen with ex-flame Katrina Kaif.
