You can call this as a sequel to their previous hit venture, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Badrinath is an extension of the Varun-Alia love story that fans embraced in the first time around. The film surprised viewers with its unique take on Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. And the songs also played an important role in making it a great success.

Karan Johar decided to revisit that era of love world but with a twist, as the makers call it, India’s first love franchise film. After three years they are back with another Dulhania, this time Badrinath’s.

Badrinath Ki Dulhania, is directed by Shashank Khaitan. What is nice about the trailer is the innocence with which Varun Dhawan delivers his dialogues and the ease with which Alia Bhatt says her lines. Once again their chemistry makes the trailer great and makes us all excited for the film.

We think the trailer is earthier in feel than that of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. We mainly loved the dialect they used in the movie. Also the running jokes in the trailer about simple interest and compund interest will surely chuckle you up. Having said that the highlight of the trailer is Varun Dhawan’s Badri act. He fits into the shoes of Badrinath’s so well and it’s commendable that the makers gave Badrinath its own arc, which the trailer witness by itself.

As we mentioned above, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan shares an amazing chemistry in the trailer and we are eager to watch more of them in their upcoming movie and the songs.

We make special mention to the music of the movie; the revisited version of Tamma Tamma Loge from Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit starrer Thanedaar adds a big weightage to the trailer. And the same applies for the title track.
