YBNL Trio Chinko Ekun, Adekunle Gold And Viktoh To Leave Label  

Online platforms have been circulating information that YBNL trio (Chinko Ekun, Adekunle Gold And Viktoh) will be exiting there parent label.

According to information coming from theNET, the YBNL artistes will soon be on their way out of the record label, since there contract has expired.

Sources close to these artist revealed that after the trio’s contract expired with the management of YBNL, they will have to go and set up there own outfit just like Lil Kesh did earlier this year.

Although their contract has expired there is a believed the artist will still have Olamide as there mentor, just the same arrangement Lil Kesh has with YBNL management.

Adekunle Gold’s contract which was reported to have expired recently is yet to decide on what to do, as per his contract, he is said to be edger to renew his contract as he isn’t ready to go unaided.

Before Adekunle Gold joined YBNL roster, he was the label’s graphics designer, but then he was offered a contract as one of the artiste on the YBNL roster.

Mr Gold joined YBNL during the inauguration of OLIC1 (Olamide Live In Concert) which took place at Eko Hotel in 2014.

He finally signed the YBNL contract after the release of his hit single “Sade” which was topping chart. Meanwhile, Viktoh and Chinko Ekun has had their contract expired for a while, they however, didn’t want to make it public for fear of saving their career.

OLIC3 didn’t have Chinko Ekun in attendance on Monday, while his other label mates joined in thrilling the crowd.

Meanwhile, we will be on ground and will follow the progress of the situation, it is likely that Chinko Ekun will float his own label by the start of January, 2017.
