This week take some time to put the headphones on and listen to Beck’s 9th studio album, Morning Phase on Capitol Records. Released in February , Morning Phase would go on to be nominated for five separate awards at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards. Beck would end up winning three of those awards: Best Rock Album, Album of the Year and Best Engineered Album in the Non-Classical category.

Track 5, “Blue Moon“, was the first single to be released off of Morning Phase. It was released on  the 20th of January 2014 to be followed by “ Waking Light” and in May, Track 4 “Say Goodbye” was released in the UK. Morning Phase debuted at number 3 on the Billboard charts and in the year following sold 300,000 copies in the U.S. market.
