Patti Smith’s’ debut studio album, “Horses”, was released in December of 1975. “Horses” met with widespread acclaim and and climbed the charts to top out at 47, in the top 200. As well, “Horses” is considered one of the most influential albums in the Punk Rock genre and considered by many to be a landmark album for punk and new wave music.
The release of “Horses” established Patti Smith as one of largest acts in the New York underground music scene. It is an often referenced work by many musicians and considered one of the most significant punk rock albums of the 1970’s.Track listing:
