5 Record Clubs That Will Get You Back In The Vinyl Game

By Charlie Matthews

If you are just getting into vinyl or you are looking for new resources to curb your vinyl jones, a Record Club might be the place for you. Record clubs were huge back in the day. And since the LP started making a comeback,  so did the record club. Each of the following record clubs is uniquely different in what they offer and how they approach the club membership aspect of getting music to your door. Check them out and find some new music to listen to as well.

Feedbands – Members vote on music from independent bands. Top voted albums get pressed to vinyl delivered to your door. If you’re into underground artists, then this record club is for you.

Insound – The online music store relaunched in 2015 covering all genres of music. A full on record shop with mainstream artist from Aretha Franklin to Van Halen and everything in between.

Magnolia Record Club – A relatively new record club that carries indie artists. Only 11 or 12 albums so far, but they are all big hitters!

Vinyl Me Please – A deep collection of vinyl going from Beck to Thelonius Monk, a great blog, and the only record club that has an “about us” tab on their home page!

Vinyl Moon –  A monthly “mix-tape” release. Each album showcases 10 original artists, comes with its own unique cover art, and is pressed on color vinyl.
