Fleet Foxes – Self Titled “Fleet Foxes”


The debut album “Fleet Foxes”  of the Seattle Indie- folk band Fleet Foxes was released in June of 2008. With influences like Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Hank Williams, it was considered an instant classic by many and received multiple awards between 2008 and 2010.

Recording began in early 2007, with little time actually being spent in professional studios. Large portions of this album were recorded in apartment bedrooms and basement spaces. By the end of 2008 “Fleet Foxes” had sold over 100,000 copies, making it the first gold certificate record released by the record label Bella Union.
