THE CHAMP RETURNS TO THE OCTAGON

Jon Jones knocks off Daniel Cormier to reclaim the UFC title belt and light heavyweight champion of the world on Saturday July 29, 2017.
Since this is the second time since January of 2015 that Jones and Cormier have fought each other this made the rivalry even more suspenseful. Jones took the role as the aggressor in the rematch between these two fighters and once again Jones comes out on top with the victory in the third round by knockout.
“It feels unbelievable, it’s a surreal moment. I know it hasn’t been easy to root for me. I love you guys so much.” Jon Jones stated this after his victory of becoming champion again as well as calling out other champions.
After the fight, Jones goes to call out former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar.
“Lesnar, if you want to know what it’s like to get your [butt] kicked by a guy who weighs 40 pounds less than you, meet me in the Octagon.”
Seems like Jones is back on top as one of the most dangerous fighters in the UFC since his downfall before he tested positive for cocaine and getting into a severe car accident years ago.
“It’s never over, as long as you never quit, it’s never over.”
Jon Jones looks like he is trying to reclaim his image as a well-respected fighter.
