2. Dunedin-based undertaker Jessica Dillon is changing the industry by offering chilling photo ops. Founder of Embalmarina’s post-mortem traveling fakery salon, a photo shoot with Dillon includes a coffin, flowers, candles, prayer cards and various vintage props. “I want people to not be so afraid of death,” Dillon told the Tampa Bay Times. “If you can embrace your mortality, it will help you live a better life.” The idea was first implemented at Tampa’s annual Tabernacle of Oddities event. 3. The City of Dunedin reported that Pinellas County Emergency Management has rolled out a new and improved Ready Pinellas Emergency Alert App and 2022 All-Hazards Preparedness Guide. The Ready Pinellas mobile app is designed to help residents prepare and prepare their families before, during and after a storm. The app helps users create an emergency supply checklist and home inventory list. It also offers access to emergency contacts and tools to build a personal emergency plan.
