Recently, senior athletes, performers and entertainers competed in the 2022 McDowell Senior Games and walked away with medals for their accomplishments.

These were the first Senior Games since 2019. Events did not take place in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Senior Games 2022 kicked off the last week of April with the SilverArts Showcase and Follies. It continued for the next three weeks with all sporting events and ended on May 26 with the awards ceremony. Gold, silver and bronze stars and a medal were distributed.
