Bongofari as he is popularly called is yet to shake the Reggae stage again after he massacred Akwaaba Festival at the Ghana National Theater organised by CeeJay Multimedia in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism Arts and Culture in Accra.
The launch, which was held last Wednesday, at the National Theatre in Accra, was attended by various stakeholders in the arts and culture industry and saw the announcement of Gyedu Blay Ambulley, a prominent Ghanaian highlife musician; Joyce Akumaa Dongotey-Padi (popularly known as Akumaa Mama Zimbi), a famous Ghanaian broadcast journalist; and Patricia Bani, a musician, as the ambassadors of the festival.
Freedom Reggae Jam Concert has invited Bongo Fari to be part of this years edition. He will be will performing alongside Legends like Knii Lantey, Nana Fynn , King Benjah Kente Band and Many more.
This year promises to be very exciting with new cats been given the opportunity to showcase their talent. The Concert happens to be a collaboration between the Music Union o Ghana (MUSIGA) and the KING TONE STUDIO.
In an interview with Bongofari he promised to give his fans the best performance. ''I know my fans are waiting for me to release the Odo Reggae Album but they should be patient with since am also recording with legends all over the world'' he said.
The Concert is happening on Friday 10th March 2023, 6pm -12 am
