Iran has warned that it will respond to the cowardly attack on its oil tanker in the Red Sea once it carefully examined the facts. A government official stated that Iran didn’t want to blame anyone for the attack in haste as it is still probing the facts that what has actually happened with the ship off the coast of Saudi Arabia.

He said that Tehran will respond and retaliate to the masterminds of this cowardly attack. But we will have to wait till the facts behind the conspiracy clarified. The attack can escalate the tensions in the region which already developed by assaults on tankers and oil installations.
Earlier, twin blasts hit the hull of Sabiti oil tanker near the Saudi port of Jeddah. National Iranian Tanker Company has refuted the accusations that attacks carried out by Saudi soil. Saudi Arabia said that it got the report of a damaged Iranian tanker. However, the ship didn’t respond to assistance calls and keep moving. The secretary of the top security body in Tehran, Ali Shamkhani assured that piracy in international waters, to make the commercial shipping insecure, will be answered.
