Acer is going to present the latest version of its Swift 7 Laptop at IFA in Berlin just today. Whereas Acer unveiled the latest Swift 7 previously this year at CES, this most recent model is below 10mm thick and it further contains an edge-to-edge display. Now the display is 92 percent screen-to-body ratio, and in total the laptop weighs less than 2.2 pounds. Acer is transporting this latest Swift 7 having an 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor, and it is alleging that it is the world’s thinnest laptop.
Acer is going to use the same size 14-inch display from the Swift 7 formerly in this year, but the bezels have got reduced heavily to only 4.27mm and consequently the total size contracts by 15 percent. In order to keep the laptop light, Acer is making it by magnesium materials. It is not straight away apparent whether this laptop even gets transported having a webcam or if Acer has moved it to under the display or fitted it into the keyboard somehow in the same way as that of Huawei’s Matebook X Pro.
At this time, no further specifications have got disclosed by Acer, neither any pricing, nor a release date.
